The melody and charm could not be missed; the wisps and whirls of detail are the callings of emotion. An airy pink with white, like a child's balloon floating in the clouds, is delicately set as if to suggest that Heaven had already been reached. White bubble molding up and down the sides, the roof, the windows, outlining everything, standing out like a glimpse of sun on a cloudy day. The tarnished gold crosses, higher than the sky, setting religion apart from the world and its worries. The Catholic Church, the mundane Heaven, simple yet detailed, promising yet disappointing, shining and enlightening. It demonstrates a spectator's prayers, the dreams that they carry and the hopes that their wishes just might come true.
The stunning brilliance is breathtaking and obvious, any person within a few block radius of this glorious sight cannot look past it, seeming as though it is always sunny and bright, no matter the weather. The sound of cars seems to fade in the background; instead the melody of baby birds yearning for their mothers is heard. The old withered man with hair as white as a newly opened baseball, and a smile as wide as a child's on Christmas, sits and paints, seeming so serene and so content with something so small and so simple. Assembled on the wooden benches in the front, staring at the broad wooden doors, and the tall stone columns, the different varieties of evenly placed gray stone surrounds you; the sound of rushing water is the background, as a corresponding salmon pink fountain is close by. The noise sounds so quiet and peaceful, as though the worries of the world are no longer, and the thoughts in your mind are suddenly all possible and believable.
The stone set medallion with gold and forest green, flower around in a swirling motion, with details as fine as sand, surrounding the soft face of Jesus. Below the crosses on the granite and stone bell towers, the head of Jesus is suggesting the obvious: that He is the highest power and portrays the comfort that He will always be looking after you. The surrounding detail in the medallion is bold, yet the eye is drawn to the center, to Jesus. His light brown eyes, warm as a fresh baked chocolate chip cookie on a cool winter night, make you think, want to trust, believe, and open your heart to anything. It is what the Catholic Church believes, making everything they believe seem right, making everything they teach seem as something you want to learn, making it seem as though their ways are the only and best ways. The touching piece signifies the church on any kind of day. With night as black as the corner of an untouched ally, the sign of religion still shines by the spotlights as bright as candles flickering in an empty room.
Red as dark as blood, the stained glass windows are set symmetrically with a certain sort of alignment that showed organization. The bubblegum colored wall, accenting the white trim and the gold crosses, all flowing, and finally being tied to together by the astonishing light shown through the windows. The light is mystifying and magical, it is the art of mystery and one could think anything by it. The tying element pushed to be seen in the background, completes the architecture as a whole, and makes the remarkable look and feel of the church stand out. The color pallet, the flowing fountain, all add certain features, although it is the beauty of the stain glass windows that make the church what it really is.
This church does not look like an ordinary church. With walls of stone, windows of painted glass, molding that characterizes it as a whole, a medallion with a meaning that could put anyone's opinion in doubt, and a stunning brilliance that can take the breathe of any person who takes the time to look. The certain tune that it carries, the thoughts that come along with the sight, all are beyond the obvious and each and every one incredibly diverse. The thought that was put into making this whirlwind of beauty was an apparent and immense one, with the head of the church front and center, the crosses above everything showing the importance, this church shows its inner meanings on the outer image.

You described the church really well. I liked you're description of colors, 'red as dark as blood', 'bubble gum pink', 'light forest green', 'white as a newly opened baseball', and others. Speaking of that, I really enjoyed your description of the old man, making him seem young again in the presence of God's house.
